What happens on a visit?A visit starts at 9:15 a.m. with arrival at the Main Building where the admission staff will greet you and provide a schedule for your visit. All School Assembly is next, followed by a campus tour with one of our student tour guides. You may then sit in on a class of your choosing, after which you will have an interview with either the Director of Admission, Rick Cowan, or with the Associate Director of Admission, Lois Barber. We welcome you to join us for lunch, though please let us know if this is possible for you. How should I dress?Keep in mind that the school is part of a working farm and the tour will include a visit to the barn. Informal dress and "sensible shoes" recommended! Should I bring anything with me when I visit?You are welcome to bring any samples of your artwork, but this is not a requirement. If I play an instrument, can I bring it to my interview?Yes, a visiting student who happens to be a musician is invited to bring his or her instrument to the school. We are very proud of our music program and our music director, is always eager to meet musicians. |
