Harvest Festival

Harvest Festival 2009 - Sunday, October 11

The second weekend in October, Putney parents joined students, alumni, and local residents for Harvest Festival 2008. The brilliant fall day included traditional Harvest Fest fare: the farm parade, cider-making, and fresh food and original crafts by local farmers and artisans. Other events included the Red-Leaf Ramble 5k run, an alumni reception, a sword dance exhibition, an alumni/student soccer game, face-painting and a treasure hunt for kids, and Putney School’s first silent auction. Please mark your calendars for Harvest Festival 2009, which will take place Sunday, October 11. We hope to see you there!

Silent Auction
Alumni, parents and friends from near and far contributed to the silent auction, and we offer a hearty thank you to everyone who donated an item or placed a bid. Your participation helped us raise over $26,000 toward Harvest Festival costs and support for financial aid students’ participation in Long Spring programs and March break trips. We look forward to continuing this event in coming years and expanding its reach and impact.
