Register for SATs on www.collegeboard.com as early as possible. Tests are given on October 10th and November 7th at Mount Hermon (22-624) test center and December 5th at Brattleboro (46-115) test center

Friday 18th Deadline for registering (optional) for October 24th ACT via www.actstudent.org

October
Thursday 1

Deadline for registering for November 7th SAT or Subject Tests at Mount Hermon via www.collegeboard.com (Language Listening Tests)

Saturday  10th SAT Subject Tests at Mount Hermon
Mon-Fri 12 - 16th Visit colleges over mid-semester break. Bring home college list of about 6-8 colleges and discuss it with your parents over break  
Thursday 15th Be familiar with all online applications and supplements for colleges on your list
Friday 16th-30th

Submit or mail materials due November 1st (Early Decision, Early Action)

Sat-Sun   17-18th "College Weekend" - - time for essay-writing and faculty feedback
Saturday  24th ACT  at Brattleboro (optional)
Monday 26th

All faculty recommenders should be confirmed and each teacher should know (in writing) the date of your first application. (If the college requires a non-Common App recommendation form, this form should be given to the appropriate teacher.) Have draft of application essay(s) ready for review by College Counselor

Friday 30th Deadline for registering for December 5th SAT or Subject Tests via www.collegeboard.com

November
Thursday 5th-14th Submit or mail materials due Nov. 15th (Early Decision, Early Action)
Saturday 7th SAT & Subject Tests at Mount Hermon - This is the only date for Language Tests with Listening
Tues-Mon 24th - 30th Polish application essay(s) over Thanksgiving break and start filling out applications

Tueday 1st Transcript request forms should be submitted to the College Office
Monday 5th SAT and Subject Tests at Brattleboro
