2014-2015 Annual Fund

Why Give?
"We're trying to prepare our students for an unknown future, to help them discover what really matters . . . to develop an idealism robust enough to break through the inertia and fear that paralyze communities. We want them to become hungry, lifelong learners who understand just how much they don't know but won't be dissuaded by ignorance; their own or anyone else's."
-- Emily Jones, Head of School

For the first time in the school’s history -- with generous and thoughtful contributions from more than 1,500 people -- Putney’s Annual Fund exceeded $1 million in 2014-2015. This is a wonderful achievement and a testament to all who invest in the Putney experience. We’re forging ahead this year, aiming to raise at least $1,050,000 in unrestricted operating support.

Your donations help ensure Putney is a place where:

  • learning is doing
  • creativity and risk-taking are essential
  • everything we do has educational value
  • young people discover and act on their passions
  • students come from an amazing variety of backgrounds and places
  • expectations are high
  • rights and responsibility are intertwined
