Basketball Teams Win Home Games

The boys played Buxton and the girls played High Mowing on Saturday, January 14 in The Putney School's net-zero/LEED Platinum Field House. The girls went first, posting an early lead that allowed coach/farm manager/history teacher, Pete Stickney, to play the majority of the bench throughout the rest of the game. The boys played a cliffhanger with Buxton that they won by a single point at the buzzer. Snow had still not come to campus by then, so everyone was glad to have an indoor sporting venue to enjoy. Here are photos of the second half of the girls' game and the entire boys' game.
