Fall Play Auditions September 7th

Karla Baldwin, our theater director, says, "The fall play will be The Laramie Project by Moises Kaufman. Auditions will be Friday, September 7 at 3:00pm in the drama classroom (Barnes). You do not need to prepare an audition piece. I will have some exercises and readings to work on with you for the audition. Just bring your lovely selves!"

Last year the theater program produced two modern adaptations of Shakespeare’s Comedy of Errors and As You Like It, as well as Lapine’s Into the Woods: The Musical. Student-directed plays developed as part of the academic Theater Intensive class included Neil LaBute’s Mercy Seat, Lee Blessing’s Independence and Jane Shepard’s The Last Nickel.
