March of the Turkeys 2011
Thanksgiving is a special celebration at The Putney School. Some years back our executive chef, Marty Brennan-Sawyer, found archival evidence of big doings on Turkey Day. He resurrected much of the ritual with the annual "March of the Turkeys" as the high point. So we gathered today at 2 p.m., with faculty, staff, families, and other invited guests, to enjoy our communal feast. Here's a little bit of video of the main event and some photos to fill in the rest of the story for you. Enjoy your holiday of Thanksgiving. We sure did.
