New Deal Presentations in the Sugar House

March is for multitasking and we're all about experiential learning, so U.S. History met in the sugar house yesterday. This happens when the farm manager, Pete Stickney, is also a U.S. History teacher. Spring has come early to Vermont, so the sap is running and so must be the sap boiler. Ergo, yesterday's student presentations on the New Deal happened in the mists of maple sap being reduced to that nectar of the gods we call syrup.
