Putney Mural Unveiled

Muralist David Fichter '69 stopped by last Friday to help unveil the mural created under his direction last June. The topic was the town of Putney and the painters included students from The Putney School, the Putney Central School, and other local artists. The mural, depicting four seasons and many of Putney's better-known residents, both historical and present, measures 52 feet long by 8 feet high and now resides on the south exterior wall of the Putney Central School.

David was featured in both the Putney Post and Harvard Magazine this month, plus this story in the Brattleboro Reformer.
