Sarah Leaves a Lasting Gift

Sarah '12 might have been tempted to name this stained glass "The Window That Would Not End." Started as a Project Week endeavor, it was quite a bit more involved than she'd expected. But Sarah persevered and the window was installed this week by Plant Manager Mark Grieco and Gene Eckhoff, the school's carpenter. Gene crafted the glass casing and trim that holds the piece in place over the back lobby door that leads to the Field House. Sarah was overcome with emotion as the trim pieces were nailed in place and is looking forward to seeing the piece every time she comes back to visit. Sarah now moves on to the business of creating ceramic lamp bases and stained glass shades for her Senior Exhibition. We'll share the results. We promise.
