Sustainability

Sustainability at The Putney School is “a way of life." Consequently, many of the amazing things that regularly transpire here are not applauded as initiatives because they are simply part of the fabric of our daily experience. In other words, “It’s just what we do.” Every facet of The Putney School’s sustainability program in so intricately interconnected with the whole that it’s difficult to break it into discrete parts, but we can divide the overview of our sustainability program into three main components:
