Indoor Recreation Building

"There is an immediate need for a gym at Putney, to provide equal facilities and opportunities for boys and girls who want to participate in athletics. At the same time, the music program has been an integral part of the Putney program for many years, and new performance space is key to its future."

— Eric McKee, history teacher and basketball coach

The building will contain a cross-country ski room that will open directly onto groomed trails, as well as space for an anticipated climbing wall. With lockers and showers, faculty and students can work out between classes, and day students can remain on campus before dinner.
