Michael S. Currier Center Construction Update

October 21st

A year ago these folks would have been standing on muddy ground surrounded by an orange fence. But on Harvest Festival Saturday, they had a tour of the nearly-fully enclosed Michael S. Currier Center. The Harvest Festival Pageant took place on the East Lawn, as always, and the weather was perfect for a change. Capital Campaign Manager, Bob Sheridan, shot these photos, including the aerial views of the roof. Notice that the skylights are fully installed and trimmed with lead-coated copper flashing. And those hardy little shrubs are still growing as the autumn foliage has reached full peak. The Putney School farm's produce sold like, well, produce at the midway and many local non-profit groups raised money by selling food and other harvest bounty.
