College Counseling

The College Counseling Office located in the Library Building offers printed resources including college catalogs, viewbooks, and test prep materials. This online college reference section, with direct links to colleges, universities, search engines and education-specific organizations, is designed to serve as a complimentary resource to aid students in their college search and application process. We have also included copies of materials from our College Planning class offered to juniors and seniors, as well as samples of correspondence to students and families throughout this college process.

Any transition can be very stressful, but it is also a time of change and growth. The more energy you put into planning your next step(s) after graduation from Putney, the more active you are and the more you take charge of the process, the less stressful the transition will be. You can count on the support of the Putney School community, and the resources of the College Office.
