The Putney Singers, Orchestra and Madrigals performed in concert on Saturday night in Calder Hall of the Michael S. Currier Center.
Selections for this year's Winter Concert included Eric Whitacre's "Five Hebrew Love Songs," Guaraldi's "Christmastime is Here" (think "Charlie Brown Christmas Special"), "Eh! Mon Dieu la belle chose" arranged by our own Gordon Jones, Nutcracker excerpts, "Betelehemu," and Bernstein's 1st and 3rd movements.
This week we also offer The Servant of Two Masters play on Wednesday/Friday, December 12/14 at 8 p.m.; The Venetian Twins play on Thursday/Saturday, December 13/15 at 8 p.m.; the Jazz Concert on Friday, December 14 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.; Project Week performances and recitals starting at 10:20 a.m. on Saturday, December 15; and the Dance Concert on Saturday, December 15 at 3:00 p.m.
