The Main building houses the Admission Office and many administrative offices. The KDU is where virtually every breakfast, lunch, and dinner at The Putney School is cooked, served, and eaten. Some of the work jobs and activities at Putney include helping to prepare dinner in the kitchen, washing dishes in the crew room, and being a dinner waiter. The KDU is also where the post office and school store are located. The new Michael S. Currier Center houses the auditorium, for performances and for the daily school assembly. There are music classrooms and practice rooms, a dance studio, a videography classroom and a "Quiet Room." There is also a secure art gallery. |
