Day Parents Please Note: Wednesday, October 8th - Extended conference time for local parents is from 7:00-9:00 pm. Schedules for local parents will be available in the Faculty Room of the KDU at 6:30 pm. Conferences are scheduled in advance through your child’s advisor.
Friday – October 10, 2008
8:00 am - 9:15 am Continental breakfast in the KDU
7:30 am - 5:00 pm Registration and conference schedule pick up in the Currier Center
7:45 am - 11:25 am Class visits. Condensed schedule is enclosed and also available at registration
9:15 am Milk Lunch
9:30 am - 10:05 am Assembly and Director's Welcome
11:45 am - 1:00 pm Lunch in the KDU
12:30 pm - 3:00 pm Conference time with your child’s advisor plus two teachers
3:10 pm - 4:50 pm Afternoon activities
4:30 pm Barn visit with Peter Stickney, Farm Manager
5:00 pm - 6:00 pm Parents meeting with Director in Barnes Assembly Hall
6:00 pm Family Banquet in the KDU
7:30 pm - 9:00 pm Evening activities
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm Conference time
Saturday – October 11, 2008
8:00 am - 9:15 am Continental breakfast in the KDU
8:00 am - 11:00 am Registration for those arriving Saturday morning in the Currier Center
8:00 am - 9:35 am Class visits and conference time with those faculty members who are not in class
9:35 am Milk Lunch
10:00 am – 11:45 am Conference time
10:00 am -11:00 am Putney Parents of Color reception in Barnes Assembly Hall
11:00 am - 11:40 am Lois Barber will be available in the Admission office (Main Building, 1st floor) to meet with siblings of current students and their parents. No appointment necessary
11:45 am Lunch in the KDU
1:00 pm Harvest Festival assembly followed by festival set up.
4:00 pm Field House Groundbreaking Celebration
6:00 pm Casual dinner in the KDU
6:00 pm – 9:00 pm Silent Auction in Currier Center
7:30 pm Concert featuring the school’s instrumental and vocal ensembles and dance performances in Calder Hall
9:00 pm Bonfire following concert
The bookstore will be open on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

*After clean-up students are free to leave, around 5:30 pm, for break or have the option to stay over Sunday night. Dorms close at 10:00 am on Monday, October 13 (Columbus Day).
Boarding students are due back at school between 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm, Thursday, October 16th.
Classes resume on Friday, October 17th at 7:45 am.
