DESCRIPTION:Whose community is it\, anyway? Why would I work at a school that asks me to pay tuition? What can I possibly learn by doing manual labor during high school? \nOur third Student Leaders Panel features student leaders of Putney’s Work Committee and it will happen from 4-5:00 pm EDT and you can register for it through this link. \nThis panel offers you the chance to hear from and converse with this year’s committee. By way of background\, the Work Committee is one of the oldest and most deeply-rooted among the student leadership roles at Putney.  Students have been overseeing much of the work required to keep the dairy farm operating\, the dining hall functional\, and the campus clean and viable. We elect these students in a competitive process and the Work Committee is one of the core drivers of the community’s culture at Putney.  We’re not aware that this happens at any other high school. \nRegister for Panel Discussion \n  \nQuestions?
