Tuition Assistance

Tuition Assistance

Partial tuition assistance is awarded, as available, based on family need, strength of application, and level of resources in The Putney School Summer Arts Tuition Assistance Fund. We gratefully acknowledge the families and organizations who contribute to The Putney School Summer Arts Tuition Assistance Fund.

The first step for families wishing to apply for partial tuition assistance is to indicate that you plan to apply for financial aid when completing the student application. We will then share Putney’s Financial Aid Application 2023 with you to submit, together with the first two pages of the most recent Federal Tax return for each parent/guardian. If parents are not filing jointly, each parent completes and submits a separate form. We award aid whenever possible, giving priority to students who are new to the programs.

Families or organizations interested in helping to sponsor a student financially should contact Tom Howe, Director of Summer Programs.

We are currently monitoring the COVID-19 pandemic. All on-campus programming will be designed to follow recommended safety precautions as outlined by the Center for Disease Control and the state of Vermont
