Acting for Stage
In the Acting for Stage workshop, students will have the opportunity to delve into various acting techniques, master the art of character development, and understand the nuances of performing for live audiences. They will participate in acting exercises, script analysis, and scene work, gaining the tools and confidence to excel.
Students will dive into some method acting and work with sense memory to discover the unique emotional palette that makes up our individual identity as actors. Students will also have the opportunity to take on roles in the short films produced by their peers in the Filmmaking workshop as well as the chance to perform pieces, existing or original, on the stage.
Below is a list of the workshops we will be running this summer. The online application will reflect the workshops that still have availability. Please contact us if you have any questions about workshop placement and availability (summer@putneyschool.org or (802) 387-6234).
