Our International Student Orientation is designed to help new students from abroad feel welcome, informed, and confident as they begin their journey at Putney. During orientation, students are introduced to the school community through campus tours, group activities, and meetings with key staff such as advisors, dorm heads, and the health team.
Academic Information
We go over important information about academic expectations, grading systems, class schedules, and available support like ESL and tutoring.
Daily Life & Routines

International Ambassadors are student leaders who play a vital role in welcoming, supporting, and building connections with international students in our community. Ambassadors help new students adjust to life at school, both socially and culturally.
Responsibilities:
- Mentor international students as they navigate school routines, language, and cultural adjustments
