Technology is an integral part of what we do here at Putney. From blended learning classes to Google Apps for education, robotics, programming, three-dimensional design, geographic information systems, science lab data collection and the burgeoning world of digital music and art creation, technology provides opportunities for project-based and hands-on learning. The Technology Department helps students, faculty, and staff learn new technologies, improve their skills, and see the creative potential technology allows.
A wide variety of resources are available including copiers and printers, three-dimensional printers, video production equipment, digital SLR cameras, MIDI controllers and music composition tools, Pro Tools and Ableton-based music production and recording equipment, photo printers, and much more. Campus computer labs include the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications for video production, graphic design, digital photography, and desktop publishing.
