Putney Reaches Out to Prospective Families and Alumni in Mexico City

Admission Counselor Miyé Lampriere connected with past and future Putney students on a recent trip.

I am back from a wonderful trip to Mexico City where I met with both curious prospective families and engaged alumni.

I had the opportunity to connect with Mexican educators and families at two fairs hosted by TABS as part of their world tour.

I  also connected with alumni who enthusiastically shared their Putney stories. We reminisced about our time at Putney. It was heartwarming to hear how Putney’s values continue to guide them. As the night fell, we found ourselves singing “Shenandoah” and “Ipharadisi,” in an empty restaurant. It was a great reminder of the deep connections Putney has cultivated around the world.

If you are brave enough, I dare you to poorly sing a Sing song in a public square, wherever you are, and at some point, I guarantee, you’ll have a fellow Putney alum join in.
