We are excited to welcome students, faculty and staff back to Putney for the start of another school year. To kick things off, we’d like to introduce our Dean of Students team this year!

Bryan Johansmeyer

Bryan is new to the Putney School but not new to working in the dean of students office. Bryan joins Putney following a decade of working in boarding schools in a variety of positions including admissions, dorm parenting, coaching lacrosse, and most recently as a dean of students at North Country Day School in Lake Placid, NY.

Honor Norwood

Honor is going into her 14th year working here at the Putney School. She graduated from Putney in 1998 and is so excited to join the Dean of Students Office as the assistant dean of students/director of student activities.

Tarah Greenidge

Tarah is in her second year as the dean of students at the Putney School, and has been working in education for over two decades, ranging from boarding schools to her alma mater Bard College, where she worked in admissions for almost ten years.
